Meadows Valley School Breakfast & Lunch Program

The Meadows Valley food service manager is Carolyn Swanson. Parents are welcome to come and enjoy lunch with the students. Advance notice is necessary. Menus are planned, using the USDA guidelines and recommended requirements. Parents/guardians, please make sure your child comes prepared with his/her lunch money.

Meadows Valley School participates in the Fresh Fruits & Vegetable Program -

Meadows Valley is the recipient of a grant that provides resources for us to prepare and distributes fresh fruit and/or vegetables to our elementary students. Ask you elementary student if they have tried something new or found a new favorite fruit or vegetable!

Free and Reduced Lunch Program

Free and reduced breakfast and lunch programs are offered to those meeting the income requirements. Information will be available through your child’s school office or in the school cafeteria. Application forms with price scales are available from the office or online. How Food Service contributes to the mission of the Meadows Valley School:

  1. Students who eat breakfast score better on tests.
  2. Providing healthy breakfasts and lunches with healthy choices teaches students to eat better.
  3. A positive and friendly atmosphere in the kitchen and cafeteria gains more respect from students.

The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
